  • 由過往到現今之教育方式都以老師講、學生記的形態出現在各個學習階段。以純語言文字的知識傳遞是較為抽象的,尤其對於國小階段影響尤甚。傳統的聽、說、讀、寫等的知識傳遞,在學生沒有相對應的經驗背景下無法進行有效的知識傳遞,因此常為人詬病。
    本論文希望透過提出一套戶外教學方式,有效地搭接知識與經驗,戶外教學場所著重於學校周遭的巷弄生活空間,以身體體驗取代部分抽象語言、進行有經驗作為背景的知識傳遞。
    此新型態的教學方式將以台南市永福國小及中正路東側街廓作為基地、以自然科中太陽單元作為一教學方案原型之舉例,未來將可以如此之操作手法運用到不同學校基地、類科及單元。

    中正路是一西北-東南道路,地理位置於過往台南府城的中軸線。在清代的”台灣八景”及日治時期營造的”日落大道”意象,都彰顯此街廓與太陽景觀的關係。當今的中正路日落景觀不再被提及,與陽光的關係被保存於街廓巷弄中的生活方式。
    本論文以巷弄的光線作為主題進行研究,透過實測以及軟體模擬的方式,試圖疏理出巷弄的光線、戶外教學場域的潛力特質、當地居民的日常生活特性三者的關係。

    在新型態教學上,試圖提出一套室內外課程並存的教學方案。而在街區設計規劃上,則希望透過處理不同的性質、形狀、方位、日照量的巷弄空間,進行部分的建築及規劃等動作,作為新教學方案的原型。同時處理基地上學生、居民、遊客等三種使用者情境的整體街區規劃。

    SUMMARY
    In view of the defects of knowledge transfer in contemporary elementary school education and the disconnection between knowledge and daily experience, this paper attempts to propose a set of atypical education methods to improve the status quo - "School without classrooms". The learning places are brought to the alleys by this mode, and the abstract knowledge is verified with the actual experience. The sunshine in the alleys near the school is taken as the research object and integrating alley sunshine and course contents is taken as the main design object.

    INTRODUCTION
    In the traditional teaching mode of "teacher speaking and student writing", the abstract languages and characters are the main. It is hard for the students to understand without the corresponding experience, so that the knowledge cannot be transferred effectively. This paper puts forward a set of outdoor teaching mechanisms combined with contemporary elementary school courses and supplies immediate body sense experience on learning to assist elementary school students to understand the abstract text. This set of mechanisms extend the learning places from the classroom to the adjacent alleys outside the school in order to further integrate with daily life. The whole set of mechanisms covers from understanding of knowledge theory to daily application and attempts to use an atypical education as a possibility for the future development of teaching and learning.

    MATERIALS AND METHODS
    This paper is divided into three parts:
    (1) Educational theory: the traditional typical education theory, decree origin, and advantages and disadvantages of learning methods are researched in the methods of literature review and practical visiting. In addition, the popular atypical education forms in the past five years are reviewed and summarized.
    (2) Alley sunshine: the sun unit in science and technology course of elementary school is taken as an example, and the sites are set in alleys near the Yong-fu Elementary School in Tainan. The sun shadow change, sun path, solar radiant and other information are researched by the actual measurement of fisheye camera photos and the simulation of computer software.
    (3) Design prototype: (1) and (2) are summarized. Try to find the site on the alley with sun particularity and intensify the site peculiarity in architecture means to become a space with educational significance on space. On education, the new buildings and old alley texture are integrated and the teaching path taking the alley sun as the theme is put forward.

    RESULTS
    In this paper, the alley space is taken as a teaching tool for learning sun unit and designed from two different scales.
    (1) In the urban planning: this paper designs a teaching route from the school gate to the alley space. On the way, different light and shadow changes in roads, arcades, alleys and open spaces can be experienced. The direction of the route is indicated by the replacement of pavements and the establishment of signage.
    (2) In the design of open space: according to the research in the previous chapter, it is pointed out that the two open spaces in the alley show sun-side and shadow-side respectively as the site for further design. In the open space of the sun-side, the sunlight box, the solar heat box and the solar heat evaporation box are put in as three topic spaces for experiencing the sun. In the open space in the shadow-side, the diffuse light box is put in to assist the teaching experience. In addition to the teaching purpose, the four boxes are combined with the daily activities of residents and tourist visiting activities.

    DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION
    In the alley space, there are many "undiscovered", "blind" knowledge contents, it is hoped that the design of this paper may become a space with enlightening educational value, not focusing on learning all knowledge within the site. It is hoped that the elementary school students may learn to find through this design and find the “blind” phenomena in the original alley as the knowledge and the arranged teaching sequences would be supplemented, so that the whole block becomes a major learning area.
    Overall, this paper proposes a set of integrated system from teaching process, method, teaching material and space to try to provide more effective teaching and learning. It is hoped that this system may be widely used in different units, subjects, schools, and gradually change the educational environment in Taiwan in the future.
