半導體製程在進入奈米世代後,12吋晶圓廠已取代8吋晶圓廠成為生產主流,而平均一座12吋晶圓廠動則耗資千億,其中又以生產設備佔絕大比例的成本,因此產能利用率一直是半導體廠影響盈虧的最主要因素之一。裝機工程在晶圓廠中除了提供機台端水、電、氣的管線配置之外,對於產能利用率的影響首當其衝,提早一天完成就提早一天的產能利用率,所以如何縮短裝機時程已是半導體廠的重要課題。
裝機工程除了時程之外,另外範疇、成本、品質也是裝機工程的關鍵成功因素。本研究專研專案管理知識體系,將其中的核心專案管理流程運用於半導體設備裝機工程之中,制定出一套合宜的管理流程,並以實際案例分析,顯現出管理流程的價值。
專案管理五大流程包括起始程序、計劃程序、執行程序、控制程序、結案程序,只要符合專案性質的工程或工作皆可套用之。半導體廠裝機工程除了一般例行性的管理工作之外,本研究特別以專案管理流程進行管理並加以分析,期望透過此流程建立裝機工程管理準則,使半導體廠裝機工程管理更趨完善,進而提昇裝機工程的效率,以期達到高品質、低成本並合乎需求的裝機工程要求。
As the semiconductor process has come into nano generation, 12-inch wafer fabs have become the master manufacturing lines instead of 8-inch wafer fabs. A 12-inch wafer fab costs one hundred billions and the cost ratio of manufacturing equipments is a big number. The capacity utilization is the major factor that affects the profit of the semiconductor factory. The hookup engineering of a wafer fab provides the pipes connection of water, power and gas to equipments. Also, it affects the capacity utilization first. The earlier day we finish the engineering the more capacity utilization we get. Therefore, how to shorten the hookup schedule is the most important topic of a semiconductor factory.
In addition to schedule in the hookup engineering, scope, cost and quality are also the key factors to perform the work. This study is researched on the project management body of knowledge and used the core process into the hookup engineering of semiconductor equipments. It establishes a suitable management process and analyzes with the actual case. It shows the value of the management process.
The project management includes five processes. They are initiating process, planning process, executing process, controlling process and closing process. It can use the process on the engineering or the works if they are projects. Except the routine management works on the hookup engineering of semiconductor factory, we manage and analyze with the project management process in this study. We hope that we can establish the standard of the hookup engineering management through these processes. It improves the management on the hookup engineering of semiconductor factory. It improves the efficiency of the hookup engineering, too. It may also satisfy the request of the hookup engineering with high quality and low cost.
