近年隨著智慧型手機等隨身裝置的普及,人與螢幕的互動愈趨頻繁,而螢幕同時作為輸出與輸入介面,色彩的使用也變得非常重要。本研究於前人的研究成果上,更深入地探討不同顏色的色彩適應對視覺績效的影響。
研究中實驗有二,實驗一記錄分析受測者於沒有色彩適應時各種背景顏色的反應速度,實驗二則比較色彩適應後同樣任務的績效變化。實驗的的色彩樣本包括三原色以及其兩兩混合的複合色光,而任務中的圖示大小則設定為受測者剛好能分辨而不過於簡單的尺寸。
實驗結果顯示,色彩適應後的平均反應速度比沒有色彩適應時的平均反應速度來得快。其中藍色背景顏色在有和沒有色彩適應時兩種情況下都有最短的平均反應時間。時間點方面,除色彩適應得除第一時間點反應速度極慢外,其他時間點的反應速度未達統計顯著差異,即色彩適應後視覺能力很快便到達穩定狀態。而介面設計中,可配合意象以及色彩適應出現的頻率,參考本研究結果中最佳績效的色彩組合,可作為日後介面色光使用的依據。
Smart devices are becoming increasingly important these years and human beings spent more and more time on electronic screen. Screen acts as a input and output interface at the same time, use of color on screen become a important topic too.
There are two experiments in this study, the first experiment records the reaction time of participants before color adaptation, the second experiment records the reaction time of the same task after color adaptation. Color samples used in this study include three primary colors and three complex colors, size of the stimulus shown in the experiments was controlled to allow the participants can just discriminate.
Results of experiments show that, the average reaction time after color adap-tation is better than before color adaptation. Background color of Blue has the best performance at all time. Except the first time point after color adaptation has the slowest reaction time, the rest of them has non-significant difference in between. In other words, human’s visual ability reached a steady level after a very short time period. The results of this study can be applied on user interface design.
