  • 本研究以馬內(Edouard Manet, 1832-1883)畫作裡的西班牙題材為主題,並延伸探討西班牙畫派對於馬內的影響。西班牙文化在19世紀中葉時,風靡了巴黎的文藝圈,範圍遍布在文學、音樂、繪畫當中,興起一陣西班牙熱潮。尤其羅浮宮在1838年設置了西班牙畫廊之後,西班牙畫派替法國繪畫增添異國色彩和不同格調。馬內在學徒時期就相當景仰維拉斯奎茲(Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez, 1599-1660),並視其為臨摹的對象。他經常使用西班牙的文化元素作畫作主題,並試圖取得沙龍評選的認可。在馬內名聲大噪之後,畫作中仍有許多西班牙色彩的蹤跡,收藏於奇美文教基金會版畫〈瓦倫希的蘿拉〉(Lola de Valence)(收藏編號:0009183)此幅版畫是他創作西班牙繪畫的代表作,相關題材直到馬內晚年時,依舊是他的創作靈感來源。研究者將探討西班牙畫派在馬內創作背景中的影響,並分析馬內如何展現個人創新的特質,進而梳理他生涯中繪畫風格的轉變。

    The Spanish Style in Manet’s Painting
    Abstract

    This research is focused on Edouard Manet’s Spanish style painting and the influence of Spanish school in his paintings. The Spanish culture was popular in Paris in mid nineteenth century, including literature, music, and paintings. After the Louvre set a Spanish Gallery on 1838, Spanish art brought the different aesthetic aspects to French paintings.
    Manet was admired Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez since he was a student in art studio. He copied many paintings from Velázquez masterpieces. There’re many kinds of Spanish feature in his works, and he tried to enter in Salon exhibition. When he got famous and succeeds in Salon exhibition, he keeps created Spanish theme and elements. The engraving version of Lola de Valence was one of his outstanding work and it's a collection in Chimei foundation.
    The Spanish theme was still the source of inspiration in his later years. The researcher will investigate the effects of the Spanish school and to analyze Manet’s painting style.
