  • 本研究旨在測試以越南文發燒衛教輔助教材進行衛教指導,於社區中對改變越南籍新移民母親處理其子女發燒的成效。以訊息-動機-行為技能模式為理論基礎,採實驗性研究設計,以個別指導方式配合越南文版發燒照護指導互動光碟及衛教手冊作為文化適切性照護介入措施之輔助工具,於南台灣社區中進行滾雪球收案,共選取61位有三個月到六歲兒童的越籍母親,收案後將越籍母親隨機分配到實驗組(n=31)與對照組(n= 30)。經完成泛文化改編的越南文前測問卷後,實驗組接受越南文版發燒照護指導,對照組接受中文版發燒照護指導,當越籍母親對發燒衛教內容充分了解後,再進行越南文後測問卷。
    研究結果顯示,接受越南文版發燒衛教的實驗組,除了社會規範(8.93 vs. 9.12,p =.16)和處理發燒溫度(p >.05)之外,在處理發燒的訊息(7.38 vs.5.03,p<.01)、態度(16.32 vs. 9.25,p<.01)、處理技能(7.74 vs. 6.35,p<.01)、自我效能(6.00 vs. 4.74,p<.01)、處理發燒順序(p<.05)和心情緊張程度(p<.01)各方面的得分與進步程度,皆有顯著且正向的改變;且實驗組除了社會規範(-.03 vs. -.19,p =.49),在處理發燒的訊息(2.35 vs.1.00,p<.01)、態度(7.06 vs.1.30,p<.01)、處理技能(1.38 vs. .67,p<.01)、自我效能(1.25 vs. .60,p<.01)、退燒處置考量(p<.01)和心情緊張程度(p<.05)各方面的得分與進步程度皆遠大於接受中文版發燒衛教的對照組。從研究結果可以證實,越南文版的發燒衛教比中文版的發燒衛教更能呈現衛教知識傳遞的實質效益。可知使用適合語言衛教對越籍母親學習新的知識與技能有加強的功能,並能影響其態度與情緒,實際運用於社區中衛教越籍母親發燒處理,確實能導正越籍母親原有的發燒認知與態度,增加越籍母親的處理技能與自我效能,對兒童發燒處理的信心,使家中兒童能夠得到更完整且正確的照護。

    This study aimed to evaluate the effects of health education using Vietnamese education materials of fever management on changing Vietnamese mothers’ fever management behavior. This experimental study was based on the Information- Motivation-Behavioral Skills Model, using the Vietnamese health education interactive video and brochure as cultural competent care interventions. The participants were Vietnamese mothers from the communities in southern Taiwan, whose has the child aged from three months to six years. A total of 61 mothers were recruited by snowball method and randomly assigned to the experimental (n=31) or control (n=30) group. After completed the pre-test questionnaire, which was translated to Vietnamese through cross-cultural adaptation examinations, mothers of experimental group received the face-to-face nursing instruction with Vietnamese brochure and interactive CD of fever management, while mothers of control group received the same face-to –face instruction with Chinese brochure and interactive CD. After completed the fever education instruction thoroughly, the post-test questionnaire was administrated and completed.
    The post-test scores of fever management information(7.38 vs.5.03,p<.01), attitudes(16.32 vs. 9.25,p<.01), skills(7.74 vs. 6.35,p<.01), and self-efficacy(6.00 vs. 4.74,p<.01) of mothers in the experimental group had significantly positive improvement. The experimental group had higher scores improve in the categories of fever management information(2.35 vs.1.00,p<.01), attitudes(7.06 vs.1.30,p<.01), skills(1.38 vs. .67,p<.01), and self-efficacy(1.25 vs. .60,p<.01) than in the control group, and their emotion were calmer than the emotion of control group(p<.05). According to the result, the Vietnamese health education materials delivered more effective knowledge information than the Chinese edition. Therefore, using the language appropriate educational materials in the communities can help the Vietnamese immigrant mothers improve their knowledge and skill of fever management efficiently, and improve their confident in fever management for their children.
