  • 美國後殖民研究學者 Mary Louise Pratt於1991年提出「接觸地帶contact zone」的概念,一個帶有空間及社交意涵的詞彙,以探討征服者與被征服者之間文化的相遇、衝突、與協調(Mary Louise Pratt,1991)。在COVID-19疫情時代,病毒快速擴散,成為全球化下的新征服者,建築空間及日常互動,人與人之間只能以介面阻隔,所形成的非接觸地帶來回應。本研究透過氣流及新互動方式─亦即「非接觸泡泡」之探討,藉此提出一種作為氣流非接觸的建築原型,於疫情/後疫情時代,形成不接觸的時間與空間。
    本研究以疫情下的台灣現場為背景,在台灣感染大事件中,前期發生皆集中於國界交界處,即「空間接觸地帶」;2021年五月進入本土感染階段,病毒則於「社交接觸地帶」快速傳播。面對病毒威脅,台灣作為島嶼型國家,其具有防護設備及分流功能的「採檢站」,即成為病毒入侵台灣島嶼第一線「接觸地帶中的非接觸」。本研究以國立成功大學「移動式智慧採檢暨實驗屋(m.COV-tainer)」為討論起點,透過對此案件實構築參與、紀錄、討論等方式,探討具機動性、快速部署性的臨時防疫建築,其實際機能需求與未來發展之可能性。
    研究內容以「移動式智慧採檢暨實驗屋(m.COV-tainer)」之「X光小間」,作為發展非接觸新模組單元的氣流實驗標的,進行「X光小間氣流實驗」操作,並以CFD軟體進行氣流可視化及設計發展討論。目標為減少氣流於空間內部的滯留,即降低病菌無法排出的可能性,經過實驗結果調整量體形狀、進風風扇、排風開口設定,發展出的裝置─「非接觸泡泡」作為新模組原型。並進行「非接觸泡泡氣流實驗」,以1/10縮尺模型及CFD模擬比對,得出非接觸泡泡環狀風箱引入之空氣,有效阻絕外部空氣進入,而形成氣流非接觸的單元原型。設計及機能上結合「移動式智慧採檢暨實驗屋(m.COV-tainer)」實際使用意見回饋,試圖提出更具機動性、舒適性及氣流非接觸性的建築原型─「接觸地帶的非接觸泡泡」。

    Mary Louise Pratt introduced the concept of " the contact zone" as "a term to refer to social spaces where cultures meet, clash and grapple with each other" in the context of territorial colonialism (Pratt 1991: 4). In the COVID-19 pandemic, virus is the new conqueror in modern globalization. The spatial and temporal separation created a barrier from the virus is contactless zone. This thesis includes the experiment of airflow and the study of buffered interaction to propose a prototype of the new contactless system in a contact zone during/post-pandemic crisis.
    The scenarios of the COVID-19 pandemic in Taiwan were analyzed. Among Taiwan’s major COVID-19 breakouts, early cases were concentrated at the national borders, which are the "spatial contact zone". Then, in May 2021, the large-scale community transmission occurred, in which hot spots became the "social contact zone". In the face of the virus threat, the PCR stations with protective equipment and triage strategies. The contactless zone in the contact zone has become the front line of Taiwan's epidemic prevention. This thesis explored the possibility of prophylactic architecture through two methods, first, reviewing the mobile screening station (m.COV-tainer), a prototype developed by National Cheng Kung University in 2021. Second, verifying spatial modelling by small-scaled experiments and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to propose a prototype of the contactless bubble system in a contact zone.
