根據合資或策略聯盟的理論指出,合作夥伴的特質與夥伴選擇準則有關,而夥伴選擇準則之配適度(相似性/互補性),則會影響合作之績效。過去研究者對台商赴大陸投資合作事業之研究,均只探討外在環境與經營績效間之關係。對合作雙方在夥伴選擇準則之各構面因素上的配適度(相似性/互補性),與經營績效間之影響的探討,仍不多見。所以本研究以台商進入大陸之策略模式與合作動機為主軸,深入探討夥伴選擇準則之配適度與經營績效間相互之影響關係。而台商以不同的進入模式與不同的合作動機,對於夥伴選擇準則間各因素重視程度之差異,亦是本研究所要探討的問題。本研究目的即在瞭解台商投資大陸之策略模式、夥伴選擇準則與經營績效之關聯性,並建立一套績效指標衡量模式,以提供企業對大陸投資決策之參考。
根據實證分析,本研究發現,台商進入大陸投資,在夥伴選擇準則中,夥伴雙方之策略導向、資源能力、組織氣候之相似程度對於合作績效會有顯著的影響。夥伴選擇準則中,策略導向、資源能力,組織氣候之相似程度對於績效的影響,在不同之進入模式,與不同的合作動機下並無顯著之差異。本研究發現,根據受訪廠商問卷分析結果,台商赴大陸投資,傳統製造業以合資為進入模式之比例較高,高科技業與服務業,則以策略聯盟較高;三類型產業皆以「能力相似群」之廠商比例為最高;在合作之整體經營績效方面,以高科技業為最高,傳統製造業次之,服務業為最差。而上述各產業選擇夥伴最重視之因素為「信任與承諾」。
Most of researches on the issue of Taiwanese enterprises collaboration with business in Mainland China are focused on the relationships between outside environment and management performance. Only few discuss the relationship between management performance and fitness(similarity/complementarity)in partner selection criteria. Therefore, the framework of this study is focusing on Mainland China entry mode and collaborative motivation for Taiwanese enterprises. Moreover, this study explores between collaborative performance and fitness of partner selection criteria with different entry mode and different collaborative motivation for Taiwanese enterprises. Beside, the importance of the factors of partner selection criteria for Taiwanese enterprises investing in Mainland China will be another issue. The purpose of this study is to understand the relationships among entry strategic mode, partner selection criteria and management performance for Taiwanese enterprises in Mainland China, and build performance measurement model as a references for Taiwanese enterprises making investment decisions in Mainland China.
Based on the empirical testing, this study finds that there is a significant influence on collaborative performance by having similar resources ability, organizational climate and strategic orientation between partners when Taiwanese enterprises invest in Mainland China. The relationship between the similarity of partner selection criteria and management performances would not be moderated by different entry modes and collaborate motivations. It is found from the analysis of questionnaire that most of the traditional manufacturing industry use joint venture as their entry mode, and most of high-tech and service industries use strategic alliance as their entry mode. The management performance of collaboration is the highest in high-tech industry. Besides, the most important factor for partner selection in all the above-mentioned industries is “trust and commitment”.
