  • 企業資訊入口網站是企業電子化演進的一個階段,透過企業資訊整合,讓使用者只需透過單一入口,便可以獲得所需的資訊。由於資訊系統標準不一、介面紊亂等問題造成資訊整合不易。因此,針對資訊來源的彙整、方便並有效率地進行資訊的擷取及傳遞,進一步幫助企業內外部各種機制的運作等,是企業成功導入資訊入口網站的關鍵因素。

    Web Services的發展,乃是透過共通標準整合的方式,汰換過去不同系統間整合的方式,解決了不同平台或系統架構間溝通的問題,為以往困難的資訊整合問題,找到了新的答案。因此若能利用Web Services進行轉換及傳遞,以使企業間資訊得以密切的整合與分享,讓Web Services所帶來的效益可以為企業清楚的預見,將可促使Web Services未來能廣泛被應用。

    本研究主要探討如何應用Web Services於企業資訊入口網站的開發。在本研究中利用Web Services相關標準,提出企業資訊入口網站之系統架構,並根據企業流程中不同階段的活動所應用的資訊開發相關服務元件,透過服務元件間彼此的轉換與整合以提供使用者所需資訊。最後,本研究以所提之系統架構開發一雛形系統,針對某個案實證架構之可行性,以作為後續相關研究之參考。面對企業內外部異質的資訊平台及日益增加的資訊,藉由應用Web Services所開發的服務元件,擺脫過去資訊整合受限於特定標準與介面的問題,並將企業原有資訊系統轉換至網際網路上運作,將可提昇企業內、外部資訊整合的效率。本研究所提出之標準化架構,具備開放性標準及統一介面的特色,給予企業資訊系統更大的彈性及延展性。

    Enterprise information portal (EIP), a single information gateway for multiple information sources, provides real time integrated information to knowledge workers from various organizations. With different standards of information systems and interfaces, the integration is not an easy issue. The major purpose of an EIP system is therefore to provide a mean of integrating different information sources and to facilitate information access and retrieval throughout and beyond an organization.

    Web services which composed of many open standards can provide a basis to establish a modern architecture for information integration. Reports state that cross-platform integration using web services is feasible. The use of web services may change the way of information integration and bring in a new business model.

    This thesis presents a framework for EIP integrating with web services techniques. A prototype is implemented to validate the feasibility of the proposed framework. The results show that the proposed framework combining with various standards can eliminate the inconsistency when integration of the information sources. By using the ubiquity of web services, the proposed framework can assist the managers to integrate information resources quicker and easier.
