Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) is a highly sensitive analytical technique, and designing SERS systems to maximize the enhancement effect has long been a research goal. Furthermore, while Raman scattering spectroscopy can provide valuable structural and environmental information for biomolecules, and has great potential for biological analysis, there has been limited research on how to utilize biomaterials in conjunction with nanoparticles to improve SERS efficiency. In this study, we synthesized SiO2@Au core-shell nanostructures and encapsulated them within membrane-integrated liposomes (MILs). It is demonstrated that these MILs, with their unique electron transfer capabilities, can effectively enhance the SERS effect via various experimental designs. On the basis of the results, we also successfully developed an optimized SERS enhancement system, SiO2@Au shell@MBA@MIL, and subsequent theoretical calculations elucidated how this system can improve SERS chemical enhancement through electron transfer processes. These findings provide valuable new insights to advance future SERS applications.
