台灣四面環海，海洋資源豐富，因為生活健康的要求對優良的蛋白質需求增加，水產品的提供也逐年增加。水產飼料為水產養殖的供應鏈的源頭，有好的飼料才能產出優良的水產品。而飼料的需求量在台灣約245萬噸的飼料需求，主要分為畜產飼料及水產飼料，生產量比例約為4:1。
對於養殖業者60-70%水產養殖成本來自於水產飼料相當重要。因此本研究主要探討在水產飼料產業經營的關鍵成功因素。
本研究主要是透過訪談的方式，回顧公司重大轉型的經營作為討論並以訪談的方式進行，訪問的對象為水產飼料的高階經營管理者，依照訪談的內容歸納出水產飼料公司經營的關鍵成功因素。
經研究中得到在台灣水產飼料公司經營的關鍵成功因素有8點:
1. 透過供應產業鏈結合水產飼料。
2. 掌握優良的動物性及植物性原料。
3. 研發水產技術的能力。
4. 組織堅強的銷售團隊。
5. 優化生產製造流程。
6. 掌握市場核心戰略地位。
7. 開發高利潤及銷售產品。
8. 接軌國際平台。

Taiwan is surrounded by the sea and rich in marine resources. Because of the health of the world, the demand for excellent protein has increased, and the supply of aquatic products has also increased year by year. Aquafeed is the source of the aquaculture supply chain, with good feeds and sufficient aquatic products. The demand for feed in Taiwan is about 2450,000 tons of feed demand, which is mainly divided into livestock feed and aquatic feed, and the production ratio is about 4:1.
For aquaculture operators, 60-70% of aquaculture costs come from aquafeed, which is quite important. Therefore, this study mainly discusses the key success factors for operating in the aquafeed industry.
The main research is through interviews, through the company's major transformation management as a discussion and conducted by interviews, the interview target is the senior management of aquafeed, follow the content of the interview to summarize the critical success factors of the aquafeed company .
There are 8 critical success factors for Taiwan’s aquafeed business:
1. Integrate aquafeed through the supply industry chain.
2. Grasp excellent animal and plant raw materials.
3. Ability to develop aquatic technology.
4. Organize a strong team.
5. Optimize the production process.
6. Master the core strategic position of the market.
7. Develop the high gross profit and sales.
8. Connect with International planforms.
