摘要
　　一地區的人口遷移數與就業機會增加數可能互有影響關係。若該地區有勞動人口遷入，可以提高其勞動供給，則會降低該地區的勞力成本，吸引廠商至該處設廠，增加該地區的就業機會，所以人口遷入數會影響產業就業機會的增加。另一方面，若一地區有較多的工作機會，會吸引人口遷入。本研究之重點是了解上述兩種現象的因果關係，何者為其結果。以每五年工商普查中產業就業數之變化來代表就業機會的提供，相關統計要覽有各縣市的人口淨遷移數。應用計量經濟學方法，可以建立具有兩個方程式的聯立方程式模型，分別代表人口遷移數與就業機會增加數，利用三階段最小平方法可估計此模型的相關參數。實證結果發現：1.國內資料顯示有著就業機會跟隨人移動之現象；2.住宅成本過高及休閒空地面積提供較少不利於人口遷入；3.工資水準吸引人口遷移之效果，對於產業發展則有反面之效果：4. 產業中礦業及土石採取業、製造業、商業、運輸倉儲及通信業、金融保險不動產及工商服務業具有吸引人口居住之特性；而水電燃氣業、營造業、社會服務及個人服務業具有跟隨人口流動之特性；5.公共支出對於人口遷移有顯著正影響，而對產業發展有負影響。

Abstract
　Migrations and increases of job opportunities in an area can mutually enhance. If a region has net in-migration, supply of labor will increase and labor cost will decrease. All these advantages will attract firms to set up plants in the region. On the other hand, when regions have lots of employment opportunities. It will bring in-migration. The focal point of this research is causality of finding out about above-mentioned two kinds of phenomena, what is its result. Changes in job opportunities can be calculated from data in Industry, Commerce and Service Census. Annual fact books of each county provide net in-migration. By following econometric techniques, the issue will be described with a model of two-simultaneous equations-system. One of the two equations models the changes of net in-migration, the other, the changes of job opportunities. The three-stage-least-squares technique can estimate the parameters of the model. The empirical results are found that: 1. The domestic materials show that there is the phenomenon that job follow people ; 2. There is high cost of house and the area of vacant lot of recreation is offered less likely to be unfavorable to attract people to living ; 3. There is influence of showing on population migration in the public expenditure, but develops of industry on the contrary ; 4. Mining & Quarrying , Manufacturing , Commerce , Transport , Storage & Communication , Financing , Insurance , Real Estate & Business Service , have the characteristic that attract people to living ; Electricity , Gas & Water , Construction , Community , Social & Personal Services , have the characteristic that follow migration ; 5. The wage level has positive results to migration , but have negative result to develops of industry.
