    • 　　伴隨著「後PC 時代」的到來、網路技術的普及化，嵌入式系統及其應用儼然成為當下研究與應用的重點，進而 產生了許多輕巧、方便、卻具有強大功能的裝置。 鑒於大部分多媒體伺服器及用戶端，其硬體平台仍然侷限於個人電腦上，缺少可攜性與方便性。若能將其媒體應用應系統轉移到嵌入式系統上發展，即能降彽成本並且擴大市場。

    　　本論文研究並實作一嵌入式視訊串流系統；硬體方面以TI（德州儀器）的 TMS320DM270為開發平台，搭配 uClinux作業系統，承襲Linux kernel 具彈性、擴充性的作業系統核心優點。發展相關硬體所需的驅動程式以及應用程式，建構一套擷取、壓縮、串流的視訊系統架構。 讓 TMS320DM270 平台在嵌入式多媒體應用方面，具有更大的發展空間與潛力。

    　　Reacting to both the Post-PC period and pervasion of network technology, embedded system and application is leading in theory and practice, so thereafter light, convenient and functional sets arrival. While hardware platforms are limited in PC of most media servers and end-users, carry and convenience are constricted. As a consequence, transferring the development from media application to embedded system may reduce the cost and expand the market.

    　　This study offers Real-time Video Streaming Implementation and Applications on Embedded System under platform TI (TMS320Dm270) with OS, uClinux, remaining Linux kernel’s main superiority of flexibility and extension. Constructing related rivers and application programs, and building a framework of Video Streaming System in assessing, compressing and Streaming may help platform TI (TMS320Dm270) progress much more.
