宗教與我們的生活息息相關，他可能影響一個聚落的界定，甚至影響我們的生活習慣。人們透過不同的宗教儀式活動與神明產生連結，而不同的宗教便會產生不同的儀式活動型態，這些不同的活動對空間之需求也不相同，因而產生出各式各樣不同的宗教建築。然而宗教儀式不僅發生於室內空間，有許多宗教儀式發生於城市之中，這些並非專屬宗教的特定空間，一座城市的空間型態紋理所反映的是其背後的歷史與人文，因此宗教儀式活動在城市空間中進行時亦會與其呼應。

在宗教活動中與城市空間有著最大關聯性的就是遶境活動，遶境活動是一個神明巡視其管轄範圍也就是其轄境的宗教儀式，透過金門迎城隍來討論城鎮空間與遶境活動間的空間關係。金門是一個開發度較低的縣市，因此其還保留了許多傳統的聚落空間型態，同時也保留下了過去的街道巷弄空間尺度，其城市紋理也較為清楚，故能夠看見遶境時遶境隊伍與城市空間所產生的相互影響。

本研究透過遶境路徑變化，探討金門迎城隍遶境隊伍與城鎮空間的關係，其間是如何相互影響，如何相互限制，以及觀看者是如何利用城市空間進行活動。一座城鎮由一個生活場域轉變為宗教場域的過程，同時這些空間意涵對於不同的參與者所發生的空間意涵之轉變。遶境儀式是一個無形文化活動，其有很多載體來呈現其文化意涵，而本文以一系列遶境路徑空間的探討來了解後浦空間之文化義涵，並藉由遶境路徑串聯起信仰、人與空間之關係。

Religion is closely related to our lives, it may affect the definition of a settlement, or even affect our living habits, people connect with the gods through different religious ceremonies, and different religions will produce different ritual patterns, these different activities have different needs for space. As a result, a variety of different religious buildings have been created. But in fact, there are many religious ceremonies that take place in cities, not in these exclusive religious spaces. The spatial pattern texture of a city reflects the history and humanities behind it, so religious activities in the urban space will also echo it.

The most relevant relationship between religious activities and urban space is the pilgrimage. The encirclement activity is a religious ritual in which the gods patrol their jurisdiction. Therefore, through the ChengHuang Pilgrimage in Kinmen, we will discuss the spatial relationship between urban space and the pilgrimage space.Kinmen is a low-development county and city. Therefore, it also retains a lot of traditional settlement space patterns, but also to preserve the past street and alley space scale. Its urban texture is more clear, so we can see the interaction between the pilgrimage team and the urban space.

Through the study on the route of the Pilgrimage, we will explore the relationship between the team ChengHuang Pilgrimage in Kinmen and the urban space, how they interact with each other, how to restrict each other, or how viewers use urban space., The process of transforming a town from a living field to a religious field, and at the same time, these spaces mean the transformation of the spatial meaning of different participants. Pilgrimage is an invisible cultural activity, which has many carriers to present its cultural meaning, and this studty with a series of exploration of n the route space to understand the cultural meaning of Houpu space, and from the Pilgrimage route series of faith, people and space relations.
