本研究旨在探討南部地區國中實習教師生涯轉換傾向的現況，並分析不同背景變項對國中實習教師在生涯轉換傾向之影響，主要的研究目的為：編製國中實習教師生涯轉換傾向量表，瞭解南部地區國中實習教師生涯轉換傾向的現況，及探討不同背景者之差異。
本研究採用自編的「生涯轉換傾向量表」，其包含生涯轉換動機、生涯轉換計畫與生涯轉換行動。以南部地區國中實習教師為研究對象，透過網路問卷方式進行施測，有效樣本共計115份，使用描述統計、T考驗與單因子變異數分析等統計方法進行資料分析。根據研究結果，茲將研究發現敘述如下：
一、女性國中實習教師在生涯轉換行動上明顯高於男性國中實習教師。
二、不同教育程度的國中實習教師在生涯轉換傾向上並無差異。
三、不同師資養成背景的國中實習教師在生涯轉換傾向上並無差異。
四、不同實習科目的國中實習教師在在生涯轉換傾向上並無差異。

研究者根據研究發現進行討論，以供國中實習教師作為生涯轉換之參考，並提出對國中實習教師與未來相關研究的建議。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the career transition tendency and its influential factors
for student teachers in junior high schools, attempting
to analyze the influence of explanatory variables such as gender, educational levels, teacher-training backgrounds, and teaching subjects. The research is mainly conducted through questionnaires which consisted of three sections including career transition motivation, career transition planning, and career transition action. The participants included 115 student teachers in junior high schools of South Taiwan. Descriptive statistics, T-test, and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the data. The findings of this study are as the followings:
(a) Gender had significant effects on the career transition action. Female student teachers had higher career transition action than male student teachers.
(b) Different educational levels did not have significant effects on the career transition tendency.
(c) Different teacher-training backgrounds did not have significant effects on the career transition tendency.
(d) Different teaching subjects did not have significant effects on the career transition tendency.

Finally, some suggestions were proposed for career transition of student teachers, educational institution, and future research.
