本研究目的在發展一具推力二十公斤級微型渦輪引擎,並詳細探討其設計方法與流程,以及使用電子控制單元(ECU),提供引擎動態測試,量測引擎基本物理量,如引擎推力(kg)、排氣溫度EGT(℃)、轉子轉速(RPM)。在微型渦輪引擎設計方面,首先分析微型渦輪引擎在最大設計轉速負載下引擎各站位的熱氣動力參數,再依照所求得的參數,設計出各組件的幾何形狀,然後再進行加工,並設計測試台,提供引擎動態測試,依據每次動態測試結果,進行故障排除及組件修改。吾人將選用喬晟公司的TD08渦輪增壓器之轉動軸件來搭配設計出進氣道、擴散器、環形燃燒室、渦輪噴嘴、軸承潤滑系統、燃油系統、收斂式尾管等。
本研究成功設計出二十公斤級微型渦輪引擎原型,並經由實驗點火成功及起動至慢車轉速35,000 RPM時間約1分鐘,推力3.1磅;動態瞬間轉速到達52,600RPM,推力9.2磅。是一具結構簡單、零件少、低成本的單軸微型渦輪引擎。
The purpose of this research is to develop a miniature gas turbine engine with thrust of 20 kilogram. With electrical control, it shows. The basic data of the micro gas turbine engine, such as thrust, exhaust temperature and RPM were examined also. The geometric scale of the engine components are based on the flow path analysis. The major parts of this engine are based on the component from the turbocharger TD-08 of a car. The design of inlet, diffuser and combustor, turbine nozzle, bearing lubrication system, fuel supply system and convergent nozzle are chosen according to the size of turbocharger. The length of the turbine axis is increased to ensure a higher efficient of the combustor.
This research succeeds in designing the engine prototype of 20 kilograms of miniature gas turbines, and it starts up to the idle rotational speed 35,000 RPM for about 1 minute and 3.1 pounds of thrust during the experiment. The maximum rotational speed reaches 52,600RPM with 9.2 pounds of thrust. This engine is aimed to be a simple structure, easy assembly and a low cost miniature gas turbine engine.
