近年來隨著技術的成熟,電腦的普及化,各種樣式的硬碟推陳出新,記憶體容量越來越大,介面技術也越來越精緻,使得傳輸速率與效能以及穩定度大大的提升,也使得資料能夠更為方便攜帶與容易保存。隨著硬碟技術進步外,在傳輸介面上也有突破的發展。USB匯流排為PC主機與其週邊裝置提供一高速且可靠的傳輸介面,成為近年來資料傳輸介面的主要方式。本論文運用PC、USB高速傳輸介面與硬碟相關電路,設計並實現一套以個人電腦、硬碟機為基礎,結合Triple DES加解密程序的USB大量儲存裝置(USB Mass Storage Device)。
本系統由PC以USB規格的巨量傳輸將符合SCSI command的命令/資料傳送至ATA介面硬碟,在USB晶片的設計過程中建立Triple DES加解密系統,所完成之系統包含以下設計:具有巨量傳輸方式之USB晶片(FS7805)韌體設計;並在韌體中定義SCSI Command,使FS7805能與具有ATA介面之硬碟進行資料的相互傳遞。經過實際測試後,在PC主機上確實辨識此硬碟裝置並可正常使用;如果以其他USB晶片連結已加密過的硬碟,將無法讀取該硬碟內的資料,故能成功地保護此硬碟內的資料。
Due to maturity of electronic technology in recent years, the storage device has more and more adavantages such as large capacity, universal interface, highly stable, and pocketable. In addition, the secure communication based device has attracted continual attention in the last decade. Inspired by the above developments, this thesis proposed a USB mass storage device with Triple DES security protection for reliable transmission interface between PC and peripheral device. It consists of one host, a mass storage device and USB relevant electronic circuit.
The works of this study included as follows: one is the connection between the host and ATA device by USB bulk transfer and SCSI command, another one is implementent of the Triple DES algorithm in USB chip. In practical, this system can work efficiently as well as information of the storage device can be protected successfully.
