在這篇論文中,我們在絕緣層上矽晶(Silicon On Insulator,SOI)的基板上設計了一個結合平行單模波導管的耦合效應與雙模波導管的雙模干涉兩種特性的新結構,並以串接的方式串接此新結構來設計一個四通道的分波多工器,其中在串接方面我們分別嘗試著使用Y-branch與90度的反射鏡來做串接,最後利用光束傳播法來做3D的模擬與分析。這篇論文證實了此分波多工器能在波長1500nm到1600nm間分出四個通道。
We designed a new structure on the base of Silicon On Insulator which combined by Couple Mode Theory and Two Mode Interference . A four channels wavelength division multiplexer (WDM) formed by cascaded the new structure was studied in this thesis . We tried to use Y-branch and 900 reflector in the section of cascades .We simulated and analyzed this WDM by Beam Propagation Method . Based on the analysis , a WDM performance of four channels in the wavelength range from 1.5μm to 1.6μm was simulated and verified.
