折扣效用(discount utility)模式是應用於跨期不確定選擇的決策模式,其模式之間的不同關鍵點在於考量時間偏好的折扣因子;現階段的折扣因子主要有指數型(exponential)與雙曲線型(hyperbolic)兩種。其中又以雙曲線型折扣效用能解釋偏好反轉(preference reversal)現象,且下降速度比指數型平緩,而為較常使用的折扣效用,但其本身仍有未能解釋人類決策行為之異常現象的問題存在。因此,本研究於原始雙曲線型折扣效用中加入預期心理的參數,嘗試發展出一個更適切之折扣模式來描繪人們的跨期決策行為。本篇論文以模式推導方式,演繹出「預期雙曲線折扣效用模型」,及探討其解釋異常現象之能力;最後,利用發放問卷的方式向決策者進行主觀效用值與預期心理參數調查,並藉由非線性迴歸與Wilcoxon符號等級和檢定法分析所得之數據,以瞭解本研究之折扣效用模型與原始雙曲線折扣效用模式兩者之間的差異性。
