本研究主要是多元迴歸分析方式以『投資區位』、『市場因素』、『成本因素』、『投資環境因素』、『企業特性』等變數為解釋變數，試著找出影響台灣高分子化學業投資績效之因素。具體而言，本文所欲探討的問題，可分為下列幾個部份：

1.台灣高分子化學業會因在不同的『投資區位』而影響『投資績效』的滿意度。

2. 在不同的『投資區位』，台灣高分子化學業會因『市場因素』而影響『投資績
效』的滿意度。
3.在不同的『投資區位』，台灣高分子化學業會因『成本因素』而影響『投資績
效』的滿意度。
4.在不同的『投資區位』，台灣高分子化學業會因『投資環境因素』而影響『投
資績效』的滿意度。
5.在不同的『投資區位』,台灣高分子化學業會因『企業特性』而影響『投資績
效』的滿意度。

　　本研究以問卷調查的方式獲得第一手資料，抽樣的資料來源為『台灣區合成樹脂接著劑工業同業公會』會員名錄，共抽取100筆樣本數，有效樣本數為41筆。而以企業主的投資績效滿意度為投資績效的指標。本研究模型為投資區位因素影響台灣高分子化學業投資績效模型。

　　最後的實證分析顯示，影響高分子化學業投資績效對投資區位模型約有53％的解釋能力，影響台灣高分子化學業投資績效的有：『投資環境因素』中的政府政策、匯率和『企業特性』中的成立時間，但『投資區位』卻是沒有顯著的影響力；顯示台灣高分子化學業不論在大陸或東南亞投資皆不影響其公司的投資績效。

　The major purpose of this study is to estimate what leads Taiwan Polymer Che- mical Corp ”investment performance” by using multiple regression analysis.
Numerous factors influence this question: “location choice” , “market factor”, “cost factor” , ”investment environment” , “enterprise characteristic” . Specifically, the issues addressed in this research are as follow:

1. Do difference in Taiwan Polymer Chemical Corp’s “location choice”, lead to different results in investment performance satisfaction？
2. In different ”location choice”, will Taiwan Polymer Chemical Corp experience different results in investment performance satisfaction due to “market factor ” ?
3. In different ”location choice”, will Taiwan Polymer Chemical Corp experience different results in investment performance satisfaction due to “cost factor ”?
4. In different ”location choice”, will Taiwan Polymer Chemical Corp experience different results in investment performance satisfaction due to “ investment environment factor ”?
5. In different ”location choice”, will Taiwan Polymer Chemical Corp experience different results in investment performance satisfaction due to “ enterprise characteristic factor ”?

　A questionnaire survey is used to obtain the first hand information to complete this research. Information in the questionnaire was acquired from the Membership list ” Taiwan Synthetic Resins ＆ Adhesives Industrial Association ”. 100 samples were taken, and the number of effective samples is 41. Corporate satisfaction of investment performance is the index of investment performance. The regression model is whether location choice factor that affects Taiwan Polymer Chemical Corp investment performance.

　After careful analysis, this regression model clearly demonstrated 53% of its explanation capability. The effects on Taiwan Polymer Chemical Corp. investment performance are: government policies，currency， in “ investment environment factor”, and time of establishment in enterprise characteristic. However,” location choice ” does not have an obvious effect ; this indicates that neither investments in China nor South East Asia have any effect on Taiwan Polymer Chemical Corp 's investment performance.
