This study evaluates the operational performance and efficiency of the Taiwan-listed and over-the-counter (OTC) Thermal Module Industry using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). By analyzing data from both production and market stages, it identifies areas for improvement within the industry. Comparing companies' efficiency performances helps identify best practices, aiding others in enhancing their competitiveness. The research focuses on 15 companies from 2018 to 2022, employing the Two-stage dynamic SBM method for analysis. The Two-stage dynamic SBM method is employed to conduct performance analysis in both the production and market stages. The key findings of this research are as follows:(1).The average overall efficiency value of the Taiwan-listed and OTC Thermal Module Industry during the study period is only 0.29, indicating a need for improvement across the industry. Among them, Auras Technology Co., Ltd. performs the best with an efficiency value of 0.73.(2).The average efficiency value during the production stage is 0.25, while during the market stage, it is 0.33, indicating significantly higher efficiency in the market stage. The focus should be on enhancing efficiency in manpower and research and development (R&D) expenses.(3).The top performers during the production stage are Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd., Audix, and Anli International Co.,Ltd., while Anli International Co.,Ltd. performs the best in the market stage.
