此學習輔助機制的評斷是由部落格文章之中的三個特徵:trackback(引用),hyperlink(連結),和comments(讀者評論),做為評估的標準,而萃取出重要且具代表性的部落格文章。
More and more learners are using the Internet to find the resources needed to complete assignments in ways which reflect their understanding of the most relevant, up-to-date information available on any particular topic of study. However, simply asking students to find information on the Internet is not an efficient way to teach or tutor. Even if a domain-specific search engine can increase the efficiency of students' searches, the time and energy needed to sort through the vast amounts of information available in every domain can still result in frustration for many users. Today’s students thus expect high quality tools and resources to guide their learning online.
The work of the dissertation attempts to focus on two key points, Dynamic Learning Maps and Elite Blog Articles. First of all, the dynamic learning map is proposed, which automatically regulates a student's navigation through a Fuzzy Petri Net model. The second key point is the ability of the learning map to find important and authoritative blog articles, henceforth referred to as “elite articles”, for students in any number of disciplines. The underlying concept of the device is built upon three important characteristics of blog articles: trackbacks, hyperlinks, and comments, which allow students to interact with the original blog article, the article’s author and other readers.
The results show that the dynamic learning map refines the learner’s self-directed process and offers some assistance to lead learners to elite article. The device described in this study identifies elite articles and presents them to students in the form of a list of recommended readings related to the learning topic. Not only does the device save students time and effort, but it also enables users to become active participants in an electronically connected community of learners. Furthermore, learners obtain important content which dynamically leads learners to deeper levels of understanding of the topic they are interested in. Two examples of the device's implementation are described, and the quality of democratically selected articles is evaluated by experts in the specified domain. The findings of the dissertation indicate that the device efficiently and effectively enhances users' learning.
