Our study aims to investigate the impact of relational capital, including Trust, Empathy, and Loyalty, on the governance structure of strategic alliances. Our research consists of survey-based data with 124 Taiwanese respondents and 89 Japanese respondents. Those respondents were required to recall the most recent activities of working with others and answer our survey. By using binary logistic regression, we found that none of the three relational capital significantly influences the governance structure in strategic alliances.
