社會住宅是一個為住宅市場中，處於弱勢談判地位的群體提供居住空間的系統，視公共利益為核心，臺灣社會也對社會住宅有此期待，對此《住宅法》於2011年修法納入社會住宅章節，提及社會住宅需保留空間作為社會福利、社區活動等使用，在興辦計畫中亦強調社區參與、社區營造的重要性，全臺多處的基地也發現了社區工作及社會福利設施等操作，顯示了社會住宅關注的焦點不只是數量，還有住宅本身提供的服務如何照顧到居住者，本研究場域的社會住宅亦專注於提供社會福利服務，及規劃促進社區互動的空間與行動方案等來提升居民的福祉。
為了端看這些措施對居住者的實際體驗，本研究以社會支持的角度解釋，社會支持是指來自他人，且可以幫助主體減緩壓力、解惑、解決問題等的資源，引導主體相信他被關心、被尊重，並且相信自己屬於一個相互聯繫的網絡，能夠在壓力事件尚未發生之前就先建立好身心健康與自我調適的能力。多篇研究提及了社會福利的介入以及促進社會互動產生聯繫在社會支持中的重要性，包含了空間中的人、事、物並且相互影響，不單是傳統社會支持研究關注的「人」。回應到當今臺灣社會住宅的操作，本研究關注居住者社會住宅中的生活經驗，解析相關行動者使居住者感知到社會支持的操作方式，並識別出其中的關鍵要素，以探討空間規劃設計與營造的活動在社會支持中的作用，以及社會福利機制對形成社會支持的作用。
本研究以臺中市太平區育賢段一期社會住宅為研究場域進行個案研究，臺中的社會住宅又稱之為「共好社會住宅」，是臺灣導入社會福利站的社會住宅之一，整合社會福利、醫療、長照與教育等資源，且規劃相關空間以供居住者、服務提供者使用，所選擇之場域也是研究時程中，具有大面積開放空間及最多社會福利機構進駐的社會住宅。
為了探討空間規劃、行動方案與社會福利機制在社會支持中的實踐，使用文件分析法了解場域的規劃理念、操作項目及方法，也使用深度訪談法了解場域中社會福利機構的實務經驗。接著以參與觀察法、直接觀察法紀錄場域中的行動，同時藉由參與觀察法招募與談對象實施深度訪談，聚焦居住者的生活經驗、參與活動經歷，以及場域中發生的社會互動。
研究發現，場域的空間規劃設計與社會福利機制在社會支持中已有成效。場域中的空間具有引導社會住宅行動者舉辦活動以及使居民停留的吸引力，但更進一步的社會互動多由行動者促成，此外能夠深入交流進而感知到社會支持的關鍵更在於參與者的同質性，空間主動引導的效果有限；社會福利機制在社會住宅中扮演提供社會支持的重要角色，其中的預防效果為主要目的，加上場域中的「共好計畫機制」與空間鄰近創造不同領域的機構間互動與互惠，使居住者能夠藉此獲得多重資源的服務，而社會住宅聚集了社會福利設施，亦成為鄰里居民具體的求助、諮詢管道之一。

In recent years, Taiwan's social housing policy has gained attention for its aim to provide affordable housing to vulnerable populations. This study focuses on the First Phase of Social Housing in the Yuxian Section, Taiping District, Taichung City, exploring the actual situation of social support within social housing and its relationship with spatial planning.
The findings highlight multiple dimensions of social support in the field. Social housing policies and planning play a crucial role in providing support, along with the effective support provided by social welfare organizations. Spaces within social housing are perceived as supportive, yet challenges arise due to an overreliance on actors for interaction within activity spaces, diminishing the inherent role of these spaces in providing social support.
Despite these challenges, on a regional scale, the implementation of social welfare mechanisms in social housing effectively extends their benefits to surrounding neighborhoods. The study concludes that while social housing contributes to social support, optimizing the role of activity spaces for sustained support remains a challenge. Further research is recommended to explore specific spatial elements contributing to social support in social housing.
