  • 近年來,數位化在全球電視市場中已成為一股不可擋的趨勢,歐規數位電視多媒體家用平台(DVB-MHP) 為一個數位電視的開放標準,它讓應用程式開發者可在此中介軟體上開發應用程式,而不用考量底層的作業系統與硬體驅動程式。它同時也扮演者實現互動式數位電視服務平台的規範。
    本論文介紹了此多媒體平台的層級架構,包含硬體層、系統軟體層、應用程式介面(API)及應用程式。我們採用了符合MHP標準的模擬平台OpenMHP及XleTView,並強化其功能。同時我們也提出一個具有資料描述能力的語言-XML,藉由XML結合Java物件導向及跨平台的特性,我們建立一個數位電子節目選單的瀏覽系統,讓使用者可以瀏覽並選擇節目及服務,同時也依據MHP標準開發幾個互動式應用程式,並實現其展示系統。

    In recent years, digitalization in television industry is already an irresistible trend all over the world. Digital video broadcasting (DVB) -multimedia home platform (MHP) is an open digital TV standard that allows application developers to develop interactive applications in a hardware platform independent way. It is also a specification with which interactive digital TV services are implemented.
    This thesis illustrates a layered system integration model, which consists of interoperable applications, Application Programming Interface (API), system software, and hardware resources. We improve OpenMHP and XleTView emulators and present a content format based on Extensible Markup Language (XML). A prototype of digital navigator system, Electronic Program Guide (EPG), is implemented by using the XML and Java programming language, thus the viewers can browse or select programs and services. We also create several fancy and convenient interactive applications based on the MHP standard. Finally, we give the demonstration of system running results and further improvement.
