The goal of this research is to understand the change of the behavior and safety attitude about Maintenance Resource Management of the local aviation maintenance technicians. The survey questionnaire used in this research is modified from MRM/Technician Operation Questionnaire. The survey covers the subjects from two major airlines in Taiwan including first line technicians with license .The survey questionnaire considers six factors about the safety attitude , the affiliation to the company, the working attitude , the communications in organization , the training result, the cognition about safety. From the returning fifty six questionnaires, it reveals that most of the technicians agree with the training of MRM. However, regarding the contents and practices, the performance of the local technicians is obviously insufficient. Moreover, the influence of MRM on the behavior changes in not overwhelming, only about forty percents of the technicians express their agreement. For the technicians, the main pressure comes from insufficiency of time, shortage of manpower, lack of equipments and parts, and line managers. Most of the human errors are from lack of communication and knowledge, and fatigue. Totally, after this research, it is found that for the local airlines, MRM training is still mandatory. In the future, it needs further enhance.
