由於科技的日新月異以及網路的高普及性,網路地圖的使用也逐年增加。一般的網路地圖展現通常採用多地圖資料集的方式實施,即在不同的比例尺展繪不同的資料集,各資料集則為互相獨立。以此方式雖然在執行上較為簡單,常用比例尺之地圖資料集的取得也較容易,但在地圖資料集的維護與更新則較困難。其原因是當一個地理物件進行更新時,必須在所有的資料集中找出該物件並將其更新。相對地,若使用衍生導向的方式則較具有彈性,且資料的更新維護也具有一致性,亦即使用具有最高精度需求之單一基礎資料集,並經由事先之定義以全自動或半自動產生小比例尺的地圖資料集。本文即探討如何使用原始比例尺的資料集轉換成不同比例尺的地圖資料集。目的為設計ㄧ系列的流程,使用單一地形圖資料集建立多比例尺資料庫,提升系統維護及更新的效率並且使地圖有較佳的展現效果。
Because of the development of science and technology and high popularization , the use of the Web map increases year by year . The general method of representing Web map usually accesses many map datasets , namely use different datasets to draw a map in different scale , all datasets are independent . Although it is simple to carry out by this way and the map datasets of the commonly used scale is easy to obtain , the maintenance and update of map data is rather difficult . The reason is that once a geographic object data needs to be updated we must find and maintain the object data corresponding to the same geographic object in every dataset . In contrast to that , the derivation-oriented approach is relative elastic . The approach is to use a single base map dataset with one highest-accuracy to derive small-scale map datasets . by defining a procedure in advance to automatically or semi- automatically transform the original scale dataset into the small scale map . The research discusses how to transform the original scale dataset into another scale map dataset . The purpose is to design a series procedure to use a single topographic map dataset to set up multi-scale database , and raises the efficiency of data maintenance and data update to make the map have better
representation .
