  • 台灣金屬扣件產業在全球的地位非常重要,誰能想像,這小小的螺絲釘竞能創造出驚人的出口商機(去年金屬扣件出口值超過1,400億元)。由於品質優良及交期準確,台灣金屬扣件一直深獲國外客戶青睞,而近年來金屬扣件同業也開始佈局高值訂單為首要目標。金屬扣件產業雖屬於傳統產業,但自貿易戰以來已顯露出一些問題,若沒有製程持續改善,後面影響恐會更大。因此,企業開始進行內部製程改善,努力降低成本及讓交期更彈性,故有些金屬扣件公司傾向自己內部增設熱處理器,希望藉此對增加高質訂單會有助益。但實際上增設熱處理器是否真的可以對訂單有助益? 這是本研究主要研究的問題。

    本研究透過個案訪談發現, (1)國內螺絲金屬扣件產業結構的轉變分析:金屬螺絲扣件產業進入熱處理領域障礙高, 若廠商上下策略聯盟及同業競爭合作程度提高,如客戶無特殊要求,內部不增設熱處理器對訂單影響無明顯相關 (2) 金屬螺絲扣件廠商核心資源特質分析:產業發展初期至自己內部增設熱處理器,人力密集性及專業性高,如客戶沒有特殊要求,企業不會積極投入,且研究也發現,內部不增設熱處理器對訂單影響無明顯相關(3)企業面對產業結構轉變階段,考量內部核心能力及外部產業結構的轉變,企業不論是策略聯盟或競合策略,客戶一般都是以價格為優先考量,故內部不增設熱處理器對訂單影響無明顯相關。

    Taiwan's metal fastener industry is very important in the world since who could imagine that the small fatteners have the amazing exports business opportunities, (Greater than 140 billion NTD on Y2019). Due to its high quality and accurate delivery, Taiwan's metal fasteners industry has always been favored by foreign customers. In recent years, the metal fastener industry has also begun to take the high-value orders as the primary goal. Although the metal fastener industry is a traditional industry, some problems have been revealed since the trade war. If there is no continuous improvement in the manufacturing process, the subsequent impact may be even greater. Therefore, companies have begun to improve their internal manufacturing processes in an effort to reduce costs and make delivery more flexible. Therefore, some metal fastener companies tend to add heat treatment processors internally, hoping that this will help increase business orders; however, in fact, can additional heat treatment processors really help the order? This is the main topic of this research.

    This research finds through case interviews that (1) Analysis of the transformation of the domestic metal fastener industry structure: The metal fastener industry enters the field of heat treatment is not easily. If strategic alliance of the manufacturers and Co-opetition in the industry are implemented and customers don’t require the special request, the addition of internal heat treatment processor has no significant impact on orders. (2) Analysis of the core resource characteristics of metal fastener manufacturers. From the initial stage of industrial development to the addition of internal heat treatment processor, it is highly labor-intensive and professional. If the customer has no special requirements, the addition of internal heat treatment processor has no significant impact on orders. (3) Companies are facing the transformation stage of the industrial structure, considering the internal core competence and external industrial structure changes, whatever the company uses strategic alliance or Co-opetition strategy, customers generally focus on price first so there is no obvious correlation to the impact on orders.
