As the rise of environmental consciousness in recent years, energy conservation has been as a global trend, therefore, saving energy with related improvement and innovation become an important target in the world.
The traditional lighting have large power consumption, therefore Solid-state lighting (SSD) become another better alternatives. SSD holds the promise of huge energy savings and long-lasting light sources, such as: LED and OLED light .OLED Lighting has light weight, thin, soft, high luminous efficiency (200 lm / W) and low heat etc. It is a significant technology changes in lighting industry.
Currently, OLED Lighting is in development and implementation stage, many countries have been put into R&D program, but domestic manufacturers still not involve so much. Overview domestic firms, some panel makers have OLED Display production capacity, so they have potential to produce OLED Lighting.
This study will focus on the mode of commercialization of the OLED Lighting technology, and selected the most appropriate commercialization model of Taiwan OLED Lighting Industry as well as help domestic player in the OLED Lighting industry.
This study is focus on industry level, and Commercialization mode choice is considerate about technical and marketability factors, as well as technology industry characteristics, and mode of application to be listed in this commercialization model.
This research methodology is AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process Theory) approach. AHP approach is hierarchical analysis method of qualitative analysis. Object-based questionnaire will be the academic, academia, and research institute. According to the representative sample of respondents, and analysis the choice of commercialization mode of OLED Lighting industry.
