Work and Life are two major concerns of employees. Employees with appropriate work-and-life balance may enjoy a higher level of either job satisfaction or life satisfaction, or both. Known as a new and substantial generation in workforce, Millennials frequently evaluate priorities in their lives, and they prefer the jobs that allow them to attain a work-life balance (Council, 2005). This study aims at investigating the gender difference levels in work-life balance, job satisfaction and life satisfaction among millennial employees in Vietnam along with the relationships between work-life balance and
satisfaction extent. The findings showed that among Vietnamese millennial employees, women tend to have higher life satisfaction men and men have more personal life interfere with work than men. Additionally, the present study also suggested that mutual interferences of 1) work and 2) personal life inversely relate to the satisfaction level in people’s life but do not relate to satisfaction level in people’s job; while the enhancement of work and life have a positive relationship with both job satisfaction and life satisfaction.
