  • As COVID-19 viruses declared in past two years later, people starting to live in new normal. Engaging with digital tracing App (DTA) as their daily live. This Apps requires bulk of information that generating user privacy concern that driver to less adoption. The absence of government participation to keep best interest for citizen in this pandemic affect as well in DTA adoption. This study introduces perceived peer privacy (PPP) as favor privacy to maintenance user protection when using DTA. We would like to test how government trust (GT) associate with download intention (DI) and user protection through defensive behavior (DB). Following that, we tested our comprehensive hypothesis in APCO model as robust model in privacy concept. Including the antecedent of PPP, GT outcome and its effect on DI and DB. By introducing PPP concept, we hope user can control their privacy through their peer while using DTA. Further, the finding implies that both vendor and government could provide better protection for users in order to keep their interest with DTA.
