二十一世紀是一個數位科技的時代,所有的資料都將以數位的形式來呈現,而數位化的好處就是可以資料加以壓,不僅體積小易於儲存,更可加快傳輸的速度。在音訊方面也是如此,所有的音樂格式皆力求體積小,音質好。而代表人物就是由MPEG 組織所定義出的MPEG1/Layer3音樂檔案格式。
本文的內容著重在MP3 檔案格式的了解及相關演算法的研究,並針對其解碼部份在DSP TMS320C6701 EVM 上加以實現,整個過程包含C程式的撰寫、演算法的改良、程式的最佳化,以期達到一個具有即時播放能力的mp3 解碼器。
The 21st century is a digital era; all data will be represented in digital format. And the advantage of digital data is that these data can be compressed in a smaller size. This can not only be easy to store but also increase the speed of transmission. Nowadays, MPEG-1/layer3 is one of the most popular audio compression algorithms .
In this thesis, the MP3 file format and its encoding and decoding algorithms will be discussed. And we will implement the decoding part of MP3 based on TMS320C6701 EVM. The process of implementation includes C language
programming, improvement of algorithm and optimization of program.
