本論文在冷銣原子暗區自發力光阱下,研究三能階ʌ形式電磁波引發透明(Electromagnetically Induced Transparency)的量子干涉效應。另外,我們也研究基於此量子干涉效應的慢光及光儲存現象。藉由補償線圈降低環境磁場的干擾,此三能階系統的兩個基態消相干率(Decoherence rate)可小至 2π × 30 KHz。
In this thesis, we study the three-level Lambda-type electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) in a dark spontaneous-force optical trap. We also observe the slow-light and light-storage phenomena based on EIT. By using homemade coils to zero the background magnetic field, the ground-state decoherence rate of the three-level EIT scheme could be reduced to 2π × 30 KHz.
