利用自由基反應來生成碳-碳鍵結的方法,在合成上已經成為相當重要的一環。而自由基反應可分為還原性及氧化性自由基反應。其中,氧化性自由基環合反應在烯類上已被視為一種重要的合成方法。
而醋酸錳(III)為目前最常用來進行自由基環合反應的氧化劑,本實驗室則對醌類化合物進行親電性自由基環合反應深感興趣,因此本篇論文則是利用醋酸錳(III)氧化β-雙羰基化合物,藉其所形成的自由基中間體和醌類化合物進行分子間環合反應。
本論文的討論為:2-苯甲醯-1,4-苯醌化合物與1,3-雙羰基化合物之氧化性自由基反應。
The use of free-radical carbon-carbon bond-forming reaction is being developed into powerful tools for the synthesis. There are two ways to produce free radical. First is reduction free-radical reaction, the other is oxidative free-radical reaction. In particular, oxidative free radical cyclizations of alkenes has become valuable method for the synthesis.
Today, Manganese(III) acetate has been used for the majority of oxidative cyclizations. In our laboratory, we are interesting in the Manganese(III) acetate mediated electrophilic free radical reaction between 1,4-quinones and carbonyl compounds. For the oxidation of β-dicarbonyl compounds, the radical intermediate which created by Mn (III) can undergo efficient intermolecular cyclizations.
In this report, we describe our results on: Oxidative free radical reaction between 2-Benzoyl-1,4-benzoquinones and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds.
