Following the trend of saving energy used and reducing carbon produced of the whole world, to use the alternative energy becoming popular. The research discussed whether the uncertain factors that consumers considered while they buy the household photovoltaic systems cause the willingness to pay (WTP) for leasing contrast to purchasing or not.
The research selected four attributes of the household photovoltaic systems which included capacity, monthly rental price, contract period, reliability. Used conjoint analysis (CA) to measure consumers' preferences of the household photovoltaic systems, and further calculated the willingness to pay for leasing contrast to purchasing. Use the part worth utility of photovoltaic systems, we can construct two regression functions as following, one is consumers' willingness to pay and uncertain scores, and the other is consumers' will to lease and environmental concern.
The result showed six uncertain factors that included subsidies, prices, life-span, reliability, technology replacement rate, electric price. The high one of uncertain score is named the high doubted group, and the other is named the low doubted group, and the WTP is NT$1969 and NT$509 every month respectively. The WTP of two groups were influenced by electric price and life-span, reliability and electric price respectively. Finally, consumers' will to lease is affected by environmental concern.
