  •   在本論文中,我們設計了一套互動式醫學教學系統:HINTS (Health Information Network Teaching System),即是以實際病例,讓學習者在線上模擬看診的問題導向的e-Learning系統,而我們所要解決的主要問題是:(1)如何配合醫師的教學方法,設計出合適的呈現與操作機制,讓學習者能融入情境,習得技巧,及如何讓教師很容易的將實際病歷,編輯成教案,以豐富學習內容;(2)如何紀錄、統計及分析學習者之學習歷程紀錄,以支援教師評量學習者學習狀況、評估教案之難易度及鑑別度,以做為強化教育或改善教案之參考。
      HINTS(系統)在設計上以教案編輯工具、教案瀏覽工具及評量工具三大模組以達成前述需求,並提供使用者線上操作協助、學習內容的提示…等輔助工具。並力求各模組的獨立性及系統的可擴充性,希望能支援醫學院教師提出新的教學方法,及配合資訊技術的進步,而能開發更適用的新模組。透過此系統良好的教學設計,以情境模擬、從做中學的方式,它可以讓學習者在沒有風險的狀態下犯錯,並透過反覆練習熟悉看診技巧,短時間即可以接觸較多有系統的實際病例。

      In this thesis, we design and implement an interactive learning system for medical education - HINTS (Health Information Network Teaching System). HINTS is an PBL (Problem Based Learning) e-Learning system which uses real patient cases and allows students to simulate clinical practice. The problems we are trying to solve are (1) how to adapt the instructional methods to design appropriate presentation and manipulation mechanism so that the instructors can easily edit the teaching cases to populate the teaching contents, and the user can immerge into the practical teaching cases and learn the diagnosis techniques. (2) how to record and analyse the learners’ learning history to support the evaluation of the learners’ performance for furthering the learning efficiency.
      HINTS includes three modules: a editing tool, a browsing tool, and an evaluation tool. It also supports on-line help, learner’ hints, and other auxiliary tools. These modules are engineered in such a way that they are independent to each other for future development that can include new learning styles or methods. Through this PBL learning system, the students can repeatedly learn a lot of teaching cases and diagnosis techniques with any real risk or clinical cost in a short period of time.
