本論文主要討論 MPEG-1 Layer III 在系統晶片(SoC)發展軟體即時解碼器之實現過程。根據系統晶片中數位訊號處理核心的硬體環境,探討實現時所面臨的限制與解決方法。此外由於我們所採用的硬體平台是屬於一個資源侷限的發展環境,我們利用 DSP (TMS320C5409)所提供的組合語言進行程式效能的提升,以求執行速率能到達即時解碼的目的。在論文中也介紹如何建立音訊輸出的介面,使得音訊能藉由此平台播放。在最後則將此解碼器整合於一多媒體儲存系統中。
This paper focus on the realization process of developing real-time software decoding, the MPEG-1 Layer III audio coding, on system on chip (SOC). We discuss the limitations and the approaches solving them according to the hardware environment of the digital signal processor in SOC. Furthermore, since the hardware platform we adopted is a resource restricted environment for development, we utilize the assembly language offered by DSP to enhance program efficiency in order to reach the purpose of real-time decoding.
