Fertility Quality of Life (FertiQoL)
Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development Cooperative Reproductive Medicine Network。

There are many factors, including physical and psychological influences, play a role in the outcomes of intrauterine insemination cycle. Our objective is to assess the association between the generic or fertility-related quality of life and intrauterine insemination cycle outcomes. In the study, we thoroughly considered time factors, and utilized of Kaplan-Meier survival analyses to evaluate the association between fertility-related quality of life or SF-36 score and intrauterine insemination cycle outcomes.
This study was a secondary data analysis of a randomized trial. We used deidentified data sourced from the AMIGOS clinical trial, conducted by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development Cooperative Reproductive Medicine Network from 2010 to 2012. This trial spanned 12 sites throughout the United States and included 900 participants grappling with unexplained infertility. (Trial registration: ClinicalTrials.gov NCT01044862.)
Based on the secondary data analysis of AMIGOS trial, we found no association between Fertility-quality of life score and intrauterine insemination cycle outcomes, including the time-to-achieved pregnancy (chemical pregnancy), time-to-clinical pregnancy, and time-to-live birth. However, we found positive association between SF-36 score and time-to-chemical pregnancy. The results revealed that the SF-36 mental component score was significantly associated with achieving chemical pregnancy (Hazard Ratio = 1.73), implying that compared with poor SF-36 mental component score group, a 73% increase of achieving chemical pregnancy for good SF-36 mental component score group. Similarly, the SF-36 physical component score was significantly associated with achieving chemical pregnancy (Hazard Ratio = 2.04) and live birth (Hazard Ratio = 2.235), implying that compared with poor SF-36 physical component score group, more than 100% increase of achieving chemical pregnancy and live birth for good SF-36 physical component score group.
