人對自然的渴求發展出了景觀建築，小至一株盆栽點景，大至都市公園、農田地景。這些不同尺度下的人工自然，背後都隱藏著作
者對自然的意圖。本論文由自然的本質面切入人與自然的關係，企圖尋找都市在叢林水泥壓力下，置身於人心中的桃花源。設計中觸及
都市綠化潮流的現象討論、自然創作手法演繹以及人聚現象與場所的關係定位探討。最後選定墾丁做為筆者人工自然表演的場地，用以
創作人聚的舞台。
本論文可分為下列四個部分：
壹、論自然：研究自然的成分，釐清自然的種類。引述出異於「天然」自然的「人工」自然，儘管東西方對自然的觀點有別，本論文
歸結出有品質的自然都有某種程度的人工介入。
貳、論人聚：人聚創造場所，從而創造場所精神。本文分析人聚與場所的互動，作為空間設計的操作工具。
參、綠色摺疊：二十世紀的立體主義與綠色摺疊作為本論文設計的靈感來源以及操作工具，嘗試在二十一世紀植生牆發明的背景下，重
新詮釋三維花園。
肆、設計與評估：將各個階段所發展的概念與以整合，逐一實踐在設計實作中。並對最後實現在基地的設計案做出檢討與價值評估。

Man‟s yearning for Nature creates landscape architecture, small as a pot-plant or large as landscape. Man-made nature works in varied scales own
designer‟s intention. Via the point of essence, focusing on the interplay between human and Nature, this paper aims to search for man‟s inner utopia
under tremendous urban pressure. In addition, three facets : urban green, manipulated Nature, and the formation of gathering place are touched in
this thesis. Kenting is chosen as the site of this design project.
Four sections are as follow:
1. On Nature：From discussion of ingredients of Nature and the classification of it to differentiate the Natural Nature and Artificial Nature. This
paper concludes that good Nature is always a sort of manipulated one.
2. On Gathering：People‟s gathering brings into a place, from which creates the Genius Loci, the identity of a place.
3.Green folding：Using 20th Century‟s Cubism and green folding as the inspiration resources and the processing tools, this design paper trys to
re-interpret 3-D garden, through 21th Century‟s new coming “Green Wall”.
4. Design and Valuation：This section integrates above ideas we mentioned to form a practical design project, and a valuation is followed.
