對於鐵路系統而言,路線容量攸關行車運轉的方式,進而影響鐵路的排班作業。國際上探討鐵路容量的文獻常指出路線容量牽涉之因素眾多且複雜,然而探討這些因素對於路線容量的影響之實證研究卻相當缺乏,因此本研究的研究目標在於探討影響路線容量的因素在實際排班上所產生的影響,並以臺鐵臺東線路段在電氣化暨瓶頸路段雙線化計畫前後的路線型式作為研究對象。
本研究使用排點系統TrainWorld以班表試排法在不同情境下進行路線容量分析,進而得到各項因素對路線容量的影響。研究結果顯示,增加路線上的雙線區間及提升行車速度均能有效提升路線容量。當路線上快慢車種並行的時候,短程慢車對於快車的班距與旅行時間的影響皆較長程慢車小。本研究也以實際的數據說明在各種不同的路線形勢之下所能增加的路線容量。
最後,本研究希望能藉由班表試排法探討在不同的路線型式下,各項因素對臺鐵列車班表產生的影響。希望能作為鐵道系統管理者未來在進行路線規劃以及訂定營運計畫時的參考資料。
Researchers of railway line capacity have often suggested that there are many factors contributing to the number of trains operate along a section of a line. However, research which has empirically documented the link between line capacity and factors such like the track type is scant. Therefore, the aim of this study attempts to explore how track type related to line capacity.
There are many factors contribute to the number of trains operated along a section of a line during a day lead the problem too difficult to solve. In this study we use a systematic approach to determine the capacity of a variety of rail modes by TrainWorld, a computer-based decision support system. The parameters of TrainWorld are tuned by using design of experiments and the result is close to the reality.
Result of this study showed that under a train type heterogeneity situation, the short-distant local train will have higher line capacity than long-distant local train, also it proved that building electrical engineering with new track engineering between Hualien and Taitung at the same time is a correct decision because of the more line capacity than only did one of the engineering at once.
