In recent years, due to Taiwan has faced sudden changes in its demographic structure, many industries were affected. Traditional machinery industry stepped into the industrial robot industry, and jointly realized the vision of automation for downstream customers. However, with the advancement of information, what customers want is no longer just a product or service, but a total solution. Therefor, the cooperation and interaction between the firms of the production line is becoming increasingly vital, and firms should consider the viewpoint of ecosystem instead of single industry. The purpose of the research is to deeply explore the cooperation and interaction in the industrial robot industry from the perspective of ecosystem theory. At the same time, through the interaction between stakeholders is to analyze how to achieve the individual and collective value for the industry.
This research takes qualitative research methods with a single case: Firm A, the distributer in the industrial robot industry in Taiwan. Based on the theoretical basis of "value co-creation" and "ecosystem", this research analyzes the evolution and development process of the "stakeholders in Taiwan's Industrial Robot Industry".
According to the results of this research, if enterprises want to connect with stakeholders, they firstly need to clarify the pain points of the stakeholders, and then provide proposals with cooperative value as an incentive to attract stakeholders participate. Secondly, they must establish an interactive atmosphere that enables participants to interact, so that they can exchange resources and capabilities in a collective collaboration. In the process of interaction, stakeholders can improve the abilities through mutual learning and adjustment. The ecosystem becomes more stable and sustainable.
