本研究採用了專家訪談法,探討台灣國際醫療產業於新南向地區的發展現況與困境,對象為台灣主要台灣國際醫療中心之負責人與管理者,並輔以次等資料收集。專點出台灣國際醫療產業現況包括「該地區現有競爭對手正積極切入市場」和「過度依賴中國市場」,而困境則包括「醫事人員工作繁忙,無力推廣業務」、「新南向地區語言複雜,醫療人員的語言多元性不足」、「缺乏整體宣傳策略」、「醫療簽證的流程不友善」,以及「國內社會認為發展國際醫療服務將對醫療量能產生排擠效應」。
本研究基於上述現況與困境採用SWOT分析得出國際醫療產業的優劣勢,並加以使用通過STP分析得出細分市場和目標市場。相關可行之發展策略已於文中述明,供讀者參考。
This research adopted in-depth interview with expert from the Taiwan's international medical centers of major domestic medical institutions, supplemented by secondary data collection makes the viewpoint more complete. After discussion with experts, they mentioned that the current status of Taiwan’s international medical industry includes in "existing competitors in New Southbound region are actively rushing into the market" and "Over relying on the China market in the past", while the difficulties includes "Taiwan Medical Staffs are busy for daily work" and "Language Ability and Manpower of Medical Industry is not enough", "Lack of overall publicity of country's image", "The process and regulations of Taiwan medical visa is unfriendly for foreign patients ", and "International Medical service will make crowding out effect for domestic medical capacity". This research adopted SWOT analysis on the above issues to obtain the advantages and disadvantages of Taiwan's international medical services, and through STP analysis to get the segment and target market. Practical recommendations are provided for reference.
