ESG(環境Environmental、社會責任Social Responsibility、公司治理Governance)是當前企業永續經營及獲利的重要指標，一般認為，企業投入ESG相關資源及作為不僅可帶來企業永久獲利，對於公司內部的經營模式以及轉型變革的過程中將帶來助力。在實務上，企業投入ESG之相關資源及作為，必須投入相當大的企業成本，本研究將探討傳統產業面臨企業轉型的挑戰，推動ESG使其成為企業永續獲利的助力。新舜營造有限公司從一家傳統營造廠面對大環境缺工、缺料以及少子化危機，加上轉型過程中面臨Covid-19的種種挑戰，推動ESG的過程中，如何連結其產業的關聯性以達到直接或間接的獲利效益，投入大量的轉型成本對於傳統營造廠所帶來的影響以及後續獲利的正面效益。此外，搭配2016至2020年間的上市營造公司為樣本，實證結果發現公司的ESG表現與股東權益報酬率呈正相關，以及環境構面的表現與資產週轉率呈正相關，提供部分證據說明營造公司重視ESG可以伴隨公司營運績效的提升。本研究盼能證明企業轉型中投入相當的ESG成本，後續可以為企業帶來可期的公司績效與永續經營。

ESG is an important indicator of the sustainable operation and profitability of enterprises. It is generally believed that investing in ESG-related resources and actions by enterprises will not only bring permanent profits to the enterprise, but also affect the company's process of business model and transformation. In practice, enterprises must invest a considerable amount of corporate resources in investing in ESG-related activities and actions. This study will explore the challenges faced by traditional industries in corporate transformation and promote ESG to make them sustainable profits. From a traditional construction sector, Xin shun Construction Co., Ltd. faces the crisis of shortage of workers, materials and childbirth in the big environment, and faces various challenges of Covid-19 during the transformation process. By means of promoting ESG, this company achieves direct or indirect profit benefits. In addition, using listed construction companies from 2016 to 2020 as a sample, the empirical results found that the company's ESG performance is positively correlated with the return on shareholders' equity, and the performance of the environmental dimension is positively correlated with the asset turnover rate, providing some evidence that construction companies attach importance to ESG.
