Cultural heritage links local memory with historical development. Expanding on inter-national trends, heritage conservation has extended from land to marine environments. However, existing studies emphasize ecological and economic dimensions, largely ne-glecting the social and cultural significance of industrial spaces shaped by fishing ac-tivities. Addressing this gap, this study focuses on Badouzi, Keelung,a location with a rich history of regional fishery interaction and technological transmission since the Japanese colonial period, yet lacking systematic cultural conservation and spatially precise narratives.

Adopting narrative mapping, this study investigates pre-1975 Badouzi through text analysis, in-depth interviews, and focus groups. Historical macro-narratives provide spatial context, while local micro-narratives capture pre-harbor memories. Based on six literature-derived elements : time, theme, space, narrative, character, and conclu-sion.Data were organized across offshore and coastal fisheries, land-based operations, and village life. Driven primarily by economic-industrial aspects, these narrative lines further incorporate environmental and socio-cultural dimensions to construct three thematic stories and map the cultural significance of spaces, resources, and social roles.

The overlaid narrative maps reveal three integrated thematic stories. The first story, "Fishery Daily Life Blending Land and Sea," outlines operations across Kan-a-ting, Sheliao Island, and Badouzi, alongside internal support tasks and the supply-demand dynamic between the bonito industry and local torch-light netted fisheries. The second story, "Memories of the Vanished Fishing Village Landscape," highlights major spatial transformations, including settlement formation, tied-island formation, and post-harbor beach disappearance, demonstrating how environmental shifts closely overlay local memory. The third story, "Fishing Village Life and Faith under Industrial Rhythms," details daily routines such as living in coral stone houses and winter side-line activi-ties, alongside seasonal rituals like Mazu pilgrimages and boat launchings.

Additionally, Bizitou, Qidouzai, and Badouzai beaches anchor diverse narratives, where coastal harvesting memories delineate three historical paths. Social roles reflect a clear division of labor, where men fished cross-regionally, women managed pro-cessing and household affairs, and children gathered resources while playing. Three key cultural resources. Coral Stone Houses, the Northern Thermal Power Plant, and Sampan Boats span all three thematic stories, reflecting environmental changes, indus-trial memories, and ritual symbolism. Though mostly vanished or transformed, they serve as crucial knowledge bases for cultural conservation and physical community guided tours in Badouzi.
