  • The implementation of New Ways of Working (NWW) has increased across the world. The rapid development of innovation technology and the COVID-19 pandemic has forced million workers to work from their own home. Since the implementation of NWW becomes taken-for-granted situation, there is new issue regarding the mental health of employee across the world. Therefore, employee’s psychological attributes become the important aspect of organizations to keep their business. This study aims to investigate the role of psychological attributes to successfully implement teleworking, and eventually increasing their performance. This study applies the production of space theory to demonstrate the complex aspect of NWW. A survey conducts in all Southeast Asian people who currently or previously experience teleworking during pandemic, collecting 319 sample size in Southeast Asia, mostly from Indonesia. The result shows that self-efficacy, entitlement and resilience have significance influence to the implementation of NWW. This study also uses PROCESS macro by Hayes to prove the mediating and moderating relationship. The result shows that working engagement role as a moderator variable enables all psychological variable to have direct influence to NWW and indirect effect on Firm Performance through NWW.
