空間組織而成的地景樣貌反映著時代變遷下材料與營造技術的轉變;材料的使用更代表著地方的產業文化與記憶。擁有咾咕石空間地景的澎湖,過去由環境中採集咾咕石作為主要營造材料,然而後期在禁採咾咕石的政策下開始出現了地方材料營造的斷層,取而代之的是通用的水泥,屬於澎湖的空間地景正逐漸在材料的取代、營造模式的改變下消逝。
本研究以澎湖海邊長年大量淤積,影響環境生態的自然退役材砂砱,以完整狀與粉狀砂砱和鹼激發循環漿體澆灌進行膠結實驗;探討以地方砂砱、砂砱材料製造、材料單元組構,形成地方構築系統,使砂砱成為地方空間新零件進行空間修補與再造。和傳統咾咕石的疊砌營造比較,砂砱材料的單元化、模矩化與可拆解的營造系統,可為地方材料構築建立新的空間地景營造與地方材料的延續性。
論文設計以澎湖白坑灰窯基地作為砂砱材料空間構築的示範場域,以三處舊有空間、五項空間設計手法介入,營造方法以可簡易自造構築砂砱牆體與單元磚體的澆灌構築為主,回應延續地方材料的在地構築,同時解決退役砂砱淤積的環境問題。在當代普遍的水泥營造成為主力下,從地方材料出發的營造顯得更為重要與具備未來的潛力,任何地方都值得建立一套由地方零件製造到地方空間自造的設計營造系統。
The landscape of the spatial organization reflects the transformation of materials and construction technology under the change of the times; the use of materials represents the local industrial culture and memory. Penghu, which has a solid spatial landscape of coral stone, collects coral stone as the primary construction material in the environment. However, in the later period, there is a gap in the usage of the local material construction after the policy of prohibiting the mining of coral stone begins to be implemented. As a result, the local material construction of the coral stone was replaced by general cement. The spatial landscape in Penghu was gradually disappearing under the substitution of materials and the change of construction mode.
In this study, a large amount of siltation by the seaside of Penghu was used for many years, which affects the environment and ecology of the natural decommissioned material coral gravel. The unit structure forms a local material construction system, making the coral gravel a new part of the local space for space repair and reconstruction. The construction system establishes the continuity of new space and landscape construction and local materials for the construction of local materials.
The research and design take the Penghu Baikeng ash kiln base as a demonstration site for coral gravel material space, intervenes with three old spaces and five space design methods, and the construction method is self-constructed straightforward to construct coral gravel walls and unit brick bodies. It is mainly based on watering and construction and responds to the environmental problems of continuing local construction of local materials and decommissioned coral gravel siltation. With the prevailing contemporary cement construction as the main force, construction based on local materials is more important. It has future potential, and it is worth establishing a design system from local parts manufacturing to local space self-made in any place.
