當前台灣產業結構的急速變動,經營環境日趨競爭激烈已是一不變的事實,尤其是在加入WTO之後更有強者愈強,弱者恆弱的情況產生。對被歸類於傳統產業的紡織業而言,更是面臨到存亡的關鍵。為了企業能永續經營,提升企業競爭力是件刻不容緩的事。以供應鏈管理的觀點來探討此一問題的解決之道,以策略規劃的角度來探尋整個的規劃方向,是此一問題能被很快的理出頭緒而找出明確的答案。
對台灣聚酯加工絲業,現在已有相當多的廠商面臨到抉擇的十字路口,特別是專業假撚廠,其處境更是艱辛。隨著新產品的開發速率加快,原料差異化愈來愈明顯,為了求生存而在原料的採購上不得不愈來愈重視。而本研究的研究目的就是要1.探討現階段評估供應商的要素與2.探討建立長期策略供應商供應關係所期望的評選要素。
本研究係以問卷方式,以層級程序分析法(AHP)來分析與探討台灣聚酯加工絲業者,針對目前與往後對於公司的經營規劃,其在原料採購上所抱持的看法,並藉此歸納找出一個方向、一個自己公司面臨困境時的解決之道。
目前台灣的相關業者對於原料採購的選擇已呈多元,而且對原料供應商也不再僅限定於一家,其會針對著公司目前的製程、目前的產品結構而作出供應商的選擇,也會在考量公司日後的發展與規劃下選擇供應商。在相關評估下其會選擇2~3家的原料供應商來作搭配,而也會依不同的時期、不同的階段來選擇不同的原料供應商。同時對原料供應商的選擇準則也不再僅考慮低價一項。在作短期規劃時,製造廠商其會以1.原料供應商本身的製造能力2.提供製程及技術的合適性3.品質的一致性4.及時反應5.解決問題的能力來作考量。而在作長期搭配的選擇時,其所作的考量點有1.供應商本身對未來所提供產品的發展能力2.設計能力3.提供未來製造能力4.品質的一致性5.及時反應與問題處理能力。對台灣聚酯加工絲業,當前就是要避開中國大陸的規模生產,落實真正的原料、製程技術的差異化,而在市場上走出自己的路。
It is undoubted about the more competitive business environment with rapid change of industrial structures in Taiwan especially after we join WTO, fostering the weak going weaker and the strong do stronger. The textile industry, categorized as one of traditional industries, now faces the critical point for survival. For continuous prosperity, it is urgent to promote corporate competitiveness.
Many companies in Taiwan’s textile industry have been in a dilemma especially for Polyester textured yarn manufacturers. Material differentiation is more significant with rapid cycle of new product development. More emphasis upon material procurement is required for survival. The study purposes are 1) to explore the supplier selection criterion, and 2) to explore the supplier selection criterion based on strategic supplier relationship in the long term.
The study is empirically investigated with questionnaires and AHP for the analysis and exploration of material procurement based on company’s business planning and induction of suggested direction for company’s solutions.
Now it is diversified for the related companies in the selection of material procurement, not limited to only one supplier. They make their decisions in supplier selection according to production processes, product structures, and further company development and planning. 2 to 3 vendors shall be selected for material supply for different periods and phases. In the meantime, lower price will not be the only choice for material supply selection. In the short-term planning, manufacturing companies will consider their suppliers 1) current manufacturing facilities/capabilities, 2) applicability of production and technology provisions, 3) conformance quality , 4) prompt response, and 5) conflict resolution. For long-tern cooperation, they consider supplier’s 1) assessment of future manufacturing capabilities, 2) design competence, 3) provisions of to-be manufacturing competence, 4) quality consistency, and 5) real-time response and problem-solving abilities. It shall find its own way in differentiation of production technology and practice of material quality from the scale economy in Mainland China.
