摘要
靜音鏈條經常使用於動力傳輸及正時系統,常見於汽車、機車、船舶等交通工具的引擎內部。相較於滾子鏈,靜音鏈具有效率高、噪音低、振動小、精確度高、能承受高速運轉及高負載等優點。雖然工業界經常使用靜音鏈,但其相關研究卻很少見,研究開發新產品仍多依賴實體測試或電腦軟體模擬,缺乏相關理論依據。
一般常見的靜音鏈條分為搖動銷靜音鏈及圓柱銷靜音鏈兩種,本文針對兩種靜音鏈條,分析主、從動輪與緊邊鏈條的運動並探討其傳動誤差。本文主要根據嚙合曲面理論進行靜音鏈的運動分析,搭配幾何拘束和力量平衡限制條件,並設定所分析物體皆為剛體且無公差之影響。
本文的運動分析包括了鏈片由從動輪離開成為緊邊鏈條,再由緊邊鏈條固定於主動輪上的所有運動情形。文中提出由弦線作用造成之緊邊鏈條傾斜角觀念,建立一套適用於搖動銷及圓柱銷兩種靜音鏈的分析方法。
本文並探討鏈片及鏈輪尺寸對運動模式造成的影響,發現鏈片與鏈輪同時嚙合的數目將隨著鏈片內緣半徑的長度而增加,以及靜音鏈片內緣半徑設計上的限制。本文考慮了從動輪部分提出有系統的靜音鏈運動分析方法,並計算出主、從動輪傳遞誤差,研究結果可提供為設計靜音鏈之參考。
Abstract
Silent chains are usually used in automobiles, motorcycles and boats as parts of engines in timing systems or power transmission systems. Silent chains perform better than roller chains in efficiency, reducing noise and vibrations, and increasing accuracy and reliability. However, research reports on silent chains in literature are limited even thought silent chain are now widely used popularly in industry. New products are often designed by experiments or trial and error.
Two of the most popular silent chains are rocker-pin jointed silent chains and round pin jointed silent chains. This thesis analysis motions and transmission errors of the two silent chains by considering both the driving and driven sprockets. Analysis conducted in this thesis is based on theory of tooth contact analysis、force equilibrium and geometric constraints. This thesis assumes that all objects are rigid bodies and have no tolerance.
The motion analysis includes the link plates approaching the driving sprocket and those leaving driven sprocket. The concept of incline angle of a tight span was introduced and a systematized method for analyzing the round pin and rocker-pin jointed silent chains is established in the thesis.
Additionally, the relation between the conjugate mode and the size of a link plate is also investigated. It shows that the number of contacting link plates increase if the radii of the inner flank of a link plate increases. This thesis purposes a systematic approach for analyzing the motion of silent chains and computing the transmission errors by considering both the driven sprockets. The results can be used as guidelines in designing silent chains.
