Abstract
In today’s growing global market competitiveness, Taiwan Semiconductor Industry is facing unprecedented challenges. It is necessary for corporate enterprise to adopt a whole new operational model; that is, to re-define supply chain operating system. The key focus of this research is to explore the use of re-adjusted supply chain and effective management to enhance customer’s satisfactions and loyalties, followed by performing these targets of co-operative performance between partners.
To understand the factors influencing the partnerships and co-operative performance between the buyer of downstream and the seller of upstream in Semiconductors supply chain in Taiwan, this research has reviewed on the literature of “trade cost theory” and “supply chain management”. To conceptualized the model of assumption; the view-point of customers (the buyer of downstream) have been conducted with empirical research as a prove of concept. For validation, this research utilized statistical methods such as multivariate analysis of variance, structural equation models analysis. Statistical analytical tools like SPSS 10.0 and AMOS 4.0 are also used for measuring the assumptions of this research.
After a series of analysis, our study yields more specific insights as follows:
1.Specific Asset, Supply Chain Flexibility and Environmental Uncertainty directly and positively affect the closeness of Partnerships in Taiwan Semiconductors supply chain.
2.Specific Asset, Supply Chain Flexibility and Partnerships directly and positively affect Cooperative Performance in Taiwan Semiconductors supply chain.
3.In addition, Environmental Uncertainty has a positive impact on Specific Asset as well as Supply Chain Flexibility. Likewise, Supply Chain Flexibility has a positive impact on Specific Asset.
Key words : Trade Cost Theory、Supply Chain Management、Partnerships、Cooperative Performance、Environmental Uncertainty、Specific Asset、
Supply Chain Flexibility
