本論文目標以「綠種子」的概念,形成生態區塊(Eco-Block)以小單位面積,串聯獲得最大的生態效益,進而影響整個都市面貌,活化綠色生活,創造互惠之綠色經濟價值。「綠種子」意指在生態場域中,植入形成綠色智慧生活網絡之元素。「綠種子」是一個現在進行式(Seeding),能夠使都市居民產生更多綠色行動,並使人們能夠覺察自身對環境的影響及變化,像種子一樣的生長、結果、發散影響更多居民。「綠種子」以「小中大」、「點線面」的方式植入生態場域中形成循環,最後形成互惠經濟共同體。本論文以四個面向進行「綠種子」生態經濟循環的設計過程,包括:案例回顧、循環策略、置入機制之技術實作及系統建立、設計演作。
研究設計過程:
1.案例回顧:藉由不同的生態經濟循環案例與經驗,擷取出其循環的方法;分析案例並歸納設計手法,幫助城市經營策略與解決方法發想。
2.循環策略:以現有都市現象進行分析與觀察,提出改變現況的循環系統的策略,經由生態學的啟發,重新設計改變人類在都市生態學中的位階關係,使人類從消費者轉化為生產者;建立可使生態循環的設計策略「綠種子」,在不同「點線面」 (點:住家,線:城市街道,面:開放空間)城市場域中置入機制「綠種子袋」、「綠種子燈」及「機構轉化動能」 轉動城市生態形成「大中小」(大:城市街道,中:開放空間,小:住家)的循環體,轉動廢棄物、人類、自然界、能量間的循環,進而使城市產生人文價值、社會價值或經濟價值。
3. 置入機制之技術實作及系統建立:探討置入機制所面臨的技術問題,進行個案分析及實體實作。所牽涉的領域包括垂直綠牆、農業種植、感知資訊、機構學;演作整合性技術設計流程。針對綠牆,設計一套運作模型及系統「綠種子袋」;在覺察資訊部分,實作利用綠色植物介質PH值產生電能,感知植物狀態的「綠種子燈」;建立「機構轉化動能」的運用系統,將人之運動能轉化為電能。
4.設計演作:三個尺度的綠色設計操作,以循環體系分為1.小循環(住宅、單元尺度) 2.中循環(開放空間:公園尺度) 3.大循環(城市街道尺度)。 以三個尺度建立未來生態經濟循環的城市願景,以設計的手法進入場域,使居民能注意到自身對城市生態循環體的影響。
本論文結論為建立一個,未來微型生態循環系統,探討循環策略的設計過程,最後提出未來城市可推行的方案。
This research adopts the concept of Green Seeding to create Eco-Blocks which initiates profound ecological effects by connecting small block areas. The purpose is to change the holistic urban formation and revitalize green life. Green Seeding refers to elements that are embedded the green intelligent life network in ecological system. Green seeding indicates a seeding process, which encourages urban inhabitants to involve in sustainable actions, and makes them aware of the environmental changes. As seeds grow, fruit, and spread, more inhabitants are converted to green life. Green Seeding is inserted in ecological areas by the strategy of “small-medium-large” and “point-line-area “progress. Finally, the synthesis of ecology and economy that ushers in mutual benefits is reasonable. Design process of this thesis includes four dimensions: case study, recycle strategy, techniques of embedding mechanism, system building and design practice.
Thesis design process:
1. Case study:
By reviewing various cases of eco-economy, we extract recycling methodology, analysis cases and design strategies for the reconsideration of urban management.
2. Recycle strategy:
By analysis and observation of current urban phenomenon, we proposed a recycle strategy that changes the current system. Inspired by ecology, the new design changes the position of human in the hierarchy of urban ecology. Human are converted from consumers to producers. Green Seeds are presented in dimensions of “point, line, and area” which refers to house, street, and open space. The embedded green seed bags, green seed lights, and system of motion transformed energy sustain the recycling of urban ecology. We believe that the recycle of waste material, people, and energy will enhance value of humanity, sociology and economy.
3. Techniques of embedding mechanism:
We deal with technique problems, case study and design practice. The issues include the technique of green walls, sensors, kinetics, integrated techniques and design process. Green Seed Bags play the role of green wall elements. Sensors detect PH value and generate electronic power used by Geed Seed Light. The kinetic power is operated to transformed human motion to electronic power.
4. System building and design practice:
Three dimensions of green design practice includes small (building units), medium (open space like park), and large (street and city). Vision of Green City is built on these three scales to make city residents more aware of their influences on urban recycling system.
In sum, this research aims to build a micro-ecological recycling system, reconsider the design strategy of recycling process, and propose a sustainable scheme for future city.
