本研究之目的為探求：（1）青少年自我中心與偏差行為之關聯。（2）自我控制與偏差行為之關聯。（3）自我控制對青少年自我中心與偏差行為的關聯性是否具有壓抑作用。必須一提的是，本研究之青少年偏差行為包含外向性偏差行為、內向性偏差行為與學業適應問題等三個類型，分別探討其與青少年自我中心、自我控制之關係。本研究之受試者為台南市之國、高中生，採分層隨機叢集取樣，抽取七所國中、六所高中職，共1,473名學生。本研究將蒐集之資料以描述統計、多元迴歸分析之巢式迴歸模型技術加以處理與分析。
　　研究結果發現：（1）青少年自我中心之「想像觀眾」傾向與整體性的青少年偏差行為、內向性偏差行為、學業適應問題皆呈正相關，與外向性偏差行為則未達統計之顯著水準。此意即青少年愈覺得自己是假想舞台中的焦點，則其發生青少年偏差行為、內向性偏差行為、學業適應問題的頻率亦愈高。（2）青少年自我中心之「個人神話」傾向與學業適應問題具有正相關，但因自我控制的抑制而變成負相關。（3）「自我控制」對於本研究中的所有偏差行為類型皆是一個重要的影響因素，且皆具有負相關；除此，自我控制對「個人神話與青少年偏差行為的關聯性」、「想像觀眾與外向性偏差行為的關聯性」、「個人神話與外向性偏差行為的關聯性」、「個人神話對內向性偏差行為的關聯性」、「想像觀眾與學業適應問題的關聯性」、「個人神話對學業適應問題的關聯性」等具有壓抑的作用。基於上述研究結果，本研究針對教育與輔導實務工作提出建議，以作為未來家庭教育、學校教育以及輔導與研究之參考。

　　The purposes of the study were to investigate: (a) the relationship between adolescent egocentrism and delinquency; (b) the relationship between self-control and delinquency; (c) whether self-control suppresses the relationship between adolescent egocentrism and delinquency. It should be noted that delinquency in this study included three types: external delinquency, inner delinquency and learning-adapted problems. The sample in this study was consisted of 1,473 students from 7 junior high schools, 6 senior high schools and vocational high schools in Tainan city. In this study, statistical analysis included descriptive statistics, and nested regression model analysis.
　　The result revealed that: (a) imaginary audience level of egocentrism had positive relationships with juvenile delinquency, inner delinquency and learning-adapted problems, indicating that adolescents who had higher degree of imaginary audience, were more likely to commit juvenile delinquency, inner delinquency and learning-adapted problems. (b) personal fable level of egocentrism had positive relationship with learning-adapted problems, but the relationship became negative as it is suppressed by self-control. (c) Self-control was a important factor for all types of delinquency, and had negative relationship with them. Besides, self-control had suppression effect upon the relationships between personal fable and juvenile delinquency, imaginary audience and external delinquency, personal fable and external delinquency, personal fable and inner delinquency, imaginary audience and learning-adapted problems, personal fable and learning-adapted problems. Possible explanations for these findings and their implications were discussed. Based on the survey and findings, this study also proposed some relevant suggestions that can be a reference for school counseling and the future researches.
